Kelly and Lorrie Morgen at Sea World

March 2006 - Florida and the Opry

Kelly has been writing songs with Lorrie Morgan and Mark Oliverus for Lorrie's new album. On a recent trip to Florida, where Lorrie was appearing in concert, unexpected bad weather caused the start of the concert to be moved up so Kelly and Lorrie took full advantage of the free time afterward to do some sightseeing at Sea World.

As you can see in the photo at left; Kelly befriended one of the dolphins and this particular dolphin wasn't a stranger to Lorrie since this dolphins trainer appeared in one of her music videos. Kelly says that another high point of this trip was seeing the magnificent Clydesdale horses (see photo below).

On March 18 Lorrie Morgan hosted "Women of Country Signature Show" at the Grand Ole Opry with Carrie Underwood, Lee Ann Womack, Danielle Peck, Rebecca Lynn Howard, Connie Smith and Jeannie Seely. Lorrie performed a song she co-wrote with Kelly and Mark Oliverius titled "It's A Woman Thing".
